The orange haze is clearing over New York City, so Governors Ball is on! The three-day festival in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park will feature Lizzo, Odesza, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Lil Nas X, Haim, Diplo, Kim Petras, Sofi Tukker and about 50 other pop, EDM and hip hop acts. Aside from this festival, more than 100 other artists will perform at local stages this weekend as well.

The Manhattan Beat regularly lists the best live music events coming to the New York City area. The twice-weekly guide also celebrates via photographs some of the musicians who have performed locally in the past few days.

Everynight Charley recommends the following 80+ concerts in the New York City area this weekend. Contact the venue or the artists' social media to confirm ticket availability, show times, age requirements, COVID compliance, and other updates.
