There is no business like show business, and there has never been a better time to break into the industry as an insider. With the reopening of stages large and small, hundreds of employment possibilities have opened in the local live entertainment industry for anyone who is motivated. Jobs are available onsite at the venues as well as in the offices behind the scenes.
A variety of entry level opportunities are available in today’s market. Many require no educational degree or prior experience. Employers are open to applicants with disabilities. Many employers seek diversity and inclusion in their hiring practices. Full time or part time, permanent or temporary, applicants can pursue opportunities directly through the employers without the use of a job recruiting agency.
Many of these jobs come with free or discounted perks, including concert tickets, meals and merchandise. Some are union jobs. Good performance can lead to advancement.
